어김없는 뒤늦은 복습...무더위로 인해 제대로 된 공부가 쉽진 않네요.ㅠㅠ

복습이 아닌 예습의 방식으로 바꿔볼까 합니다. 오늘 표현과 내일 표현도 미리 공부해봅니다.

 

I need to tell you something. 너에게 할 얘기가 있어.    Annie : I need to tell you something, Oscar.  Oz : That's never a good start to conversation.  Annie : John Gale asked me to marry him.             That's why I've come.             I thought you should know.  Oz : Umm...I think that's wonderful, Annie.  Annie : I said I had to think about it.  Oz : Oh, men love that answer.   Don't tell me what life is all about. 인생에 대한 설교는 하지 마세요.  * You don't have to lecture me on life. 인생에 대해 설명을 늘어놓지 마세요.   We had to cancel because of rain. 우리는 비 때문에 취소해야만 했어.    A : How did your shopping spree go? 쇼핑 좀 제대로 하겠다는 거 어떻게 되었어?  B : We had to cancel because of rain.  A : Sorry to hear that. There'll be other times.   The meeting got called off. 회의가 취소되었어.    A : Where is everybody?  B : The meeting got called off.
