Our next stop was my husband's favorite sport, Pro One. Pro One is a sporting goods store, and my husband never leaves without buying nothing. (1) 이번에 그는 테니스 라켓을 위한 새 테니스 줄을 찾고 있었다. My husband plays tennis every Saturday with his friends for four hours. (2) 그것은 그에게  주말 의식 같은 일이 되었다. Today Henny also seemed to be interested in something from the store. (3) 헨리는 아빠처럼 스포츠광은 아니지만, 인라인 스케이트를 살펴보고 있었다. I immediately looked at the price tag and told him to wail untill his birthday. (To bo continued...)

     그는 와인 애호가이니 그에게 와인을 사주자.

 This time he was looking for a new string for his tennis racket.

 

2. 그것은 그에게 주말 의식 같은 일이 되었다.

 It has become a weekend ritual for him.

 

3. 헨리는 아빠처럼 스포츠광은 아니지만, 인라인 스케이트를 살펴보고 있었다.

 Henny is not a sports buff like his dad, but he was checking out a pair of inline skates.

 

till/'till/untill  * 'till : 구어에서 흔히 쓰이는 표현, 글을 쓸 때는 권하지 않음  * till : Scotland에서 빈번히 사용  * until : 미국, 캐나다에서 주로 사용  * 문장 맨 앞에 쓸 때는 untill 을 사용하는 것이 일반적임.

Without + -ing  * Without 은 ~'없이, ~을 하지 않고'의 의미로 부정의 뜻이기 때문에 without 다음에 또 다른 부정어     가   나오는 것은 어색하다. 그 중 많이 보이는 것이 without no one/nobody 또는 without nothing     을 쓰는 실수이다.      ex) 그는 누구와도 오지 않았다.            He came without anyone/anybody.(o)            He came without no one.(x)
